Honda is showing their new 3200W (peak) generator, at least in EU ! I can't find the full specs, but I have seen one picture with a TT30 outlet. Nice gen, but 10 more pounds would be too much for my old back. I own enough generators for the rest of my life.

I wonder how hard it would be to hookup an extended run tank ?It is fuel injected, so it on obviously has a fuel pump built in. If the fuel tank vent is closed/blocked an a fitting inserted through the fuel cap there should be enough vacuum to pull fuel from an external tank, just like the EU2000i and EU220i extended run kits.

Another Onan Cummins unit can be installed.

That's what happened in my case - I took out the original loud Cummins Onan 2500 and replace it with the Cummins Onan 2500i inverter model, which is a lot quieter

Divide wattage by voltage and you get amps.

If they put out a 110v version for N. America, it would presumably put out roughly double the amps.

Anyone know of a generator that can be swapped in place of an in place Onan 4k relatively easily using preexisting wiring?

Had been giving this some thought in the event the Micro4K crapped out.

Might be EU regulations forcing the shift but once production is ramped up, if it's any good, I would be shocked if it doesn't get expanded to N. America.

Every Honda dealer and factory person I’ve spoken to about this generator have said the same thing. They haven’t heard anything about it. Also a lot of items available in Europe aren’t available here. Only time will tell.

I'm thinking the EFI will be of benefit at high altitude to keep mixture in check.
