So I hope they have in their fingers enough energy to type questions if they are so interested. Get it? Interest has been shown. it will be responded to.

OK, I will bite. Please translate just the first sentence. Here are my questions:

1. "en vitro". Do you mean "in vitro"? If so, the definition is "of a process) performed or taking place in a test tube, culture dish, or elsewhere outside a living organism". Is this just random gibberish or does it relate to anything in the rest of your statement?

2. "crawler" of information. Crawler has two main definitions: "a thing that crawls or moves at a slow pace, especially an insect or
a tractor or other vehicle moving on an endless caterpillar track. Crawler is also a term used for a software program that searches the web. Neither seems to have anything to do with anything else in your statement. Would you please translate?

3. You state your ideas are like information on shopping channels and also your ideas disappear forever. I am totally mystified. I don't watch shopping channels and see no connection between ideas and a shopping channel. Nor do I understand how your ideas disappear forever. The actually seem to have some permanence at least until the forum purges them months or years from now.

It often seems like you have something of value in your comments. Unfortunately, I can rarely pull out any meaning from your choice of words.

I find Mex's posts interesting but sometimes cryptic. If you find them too difficult, ask a question or ignore them but please don't be picky and pedantic like above. Be patient.

Many of us have learned a lot from him over the years.

Agreed H2SO4 causes corrosion,
but doesn't over-charging accelerate Grid Corrosion?

I always "over-charge" a little to guarantee 100% SOC.

I follow Mex's posts and have to research/assume/attempt to understand.

Others can follow his posts.

I look at it this way: like any expert that has difficulty explaining it in layman's terms. Sometimes I don't tell my users exactly what the issue was. When a website is inaccessible, do they need to know the proxy team and F5/Squid folks were involved because F5 was routing traffic incorrectly? ๐Ÿ™‚

No, they rarely care nor do they understand. I know this is not the same as Mex's comments, but I feel like there is understanding and expertise that Mex provides if I could only understand it a little better. I find it a bit of a challenge. Sometimes the posts in various forums aren't challenging ๐Ÿ™‚

With only 5 - 6 Hours of Full-Sun (equiv) per day, charging a deeply discharged Lead Acid battery back to 100% SOC, between sunrise & sunset is very difficult. So, increase the voltage that determines when we change from Bulk Mode to Absorb Mode.

Staying in Bulk Mode longer
===========================
a) Puts more AH into the battery faster
b) Decreases the time needed for Absorb Mode significantly
c) Uses more water
d) Causes more Grid Corrosion
e) Increases chance of 100% SOC by sunset possible

Is PSOC the #1 reason for early battery failure?

Explaining my ideas en vitro every time I post a comment would create a vast "crawler"of information that like you see on shopping channels, disappears forever. So because of arthritis I am forced to "en breve" note some of these things, hope others can dialog lightly covered areas if they are of interest. Someone dropping in casually on the ninth of twenty three comments is going to be somewhat lost.

So I hope they have in their fingers enough energy to type questions if they are so interested. Get it? Interest has been shown. it will be responded to.

But a manuscript grade thesis for every post isn't possible.

Due to undercharged battery complaints including warranty returns.

Something I have been harping about for years. This is of no importance for folks who change batteries like I change underwear. Of others who blame everything on "Bad Batteries" because their converter just has to be perfect - the manufacturer says so.

I have never found a charger that charges to the voltages specified by Trojan (VPC - volts per cell)

Bulk Charge (2.47 VPC)
Absorption Charge (2.35 โ€“ 2.45 VPC)
Finish Charge (2.70 VPC)
Equalize Charge (2.70 VPC)
Float Charge (if desired 2.25 VPC)

Regarding changes in voltages.. The percentrage of antimony is just one part of a very complex equasion, Platte separation, plate design, Thickness, and how well they are mounted all factor in as well as other things I can only guess at.

Your original statements did not mention any changes in absorption or float voltages. I suppose some other people can read your mind, but I cannot.

Let me see if I understand your points:

Trojan has increased the recommended absorption and float voltages.

Trojan has not changed the antimony content (or any other component or manufacturing process).

Since no changes were made, Trojan's previous recommendations were incorrect and resulted in undercharging and shortened battery life.

Did I get this right? If so, why not start by explaining your ideas instead of just throwing out what seems to be just incomplete, disconnected and random thoughts?
