Todd Eng. PC30B battery charger/power supply owners manual.

Does anyone have a PDF copy of the owners manual for a "Todd Engineering PC30B battery charger/power supply"?

I bought a solar power set-up in an auction that came with 2 of them, they were wired so as to provide charging for a 24 volt system, I only need to charge 12 volt, I have them working if only one at a time is hooked up to the batteries, if I try to hook up both then the ERROR light on both flashes on and off, the label says to see the owners manual but I do not have one.

Any chance you have a PDF copy of the owners manual you can send me?

Thank You

  • Thanks, they do not have one, several other places I asked have not yet replied back.

  • If they were in series to do the 24v and you only need one to do 12v then you can use both on 12v if you put them in parallel instead of in series.

That is what I tried, but the second both are hooked up to the batteries the red error light on both of them starts blinking on and off.

  • Sometimes with two chargers on the battery bank, one won't start with the other on. Eg, with a portable smart charger and the converter, turn off the converter, get the portable going and then turn the converter on.

I don't know what the issue is here, but you could try to get one running and then turn the other on and it might stay on. If not then try the other one first and then turn on the second one. Never know, worth a try. Idea is they are probably not exactly the same voltage by a tiny amount. You want to get the lower voltage one running before turning on the higher voltage one
