VEC1093DBD Smart Battery charger - amazon warehouse deal

Great deal for that unit even used.

7 left now, just bought one. Thanks for the heads up, we have been looking for a charger to keep the not towed toad battery up when we are on the road.

Last night I ordered one of the new ones at $99 plus free shipping.

I wanted to make sure that I got a complete manual and wasn't sure if an used charger came with the instructions.

My decision to buy the VEC1093 was based on reports posted here, but the reviews posted on Amazon were not exactly 'glowing'. Hope Black and Decker's quality has not slipped.

On some, the fan dies. Reports on here say you can replace the fan with a muffin fan from a computer ISTR.

FWIW, I've bought two things from Amazon's warehouse deals.
An MP3 player - used, like-new. It was brand new - still in the impossible to open heat sealed plastic but the box was beat up. All complete.

The other was something else I don't remember - may have been my Kindle. Same thing.


It'll be interesting to hear the quality of these B&D units.

3 years, original fan, has sat outside in 110+ F heat charging friends batteries, they're bulletproof IMO
