what time of day do you hit 1.5 amps of charging from solar?

Yeah my "dream" is a twin axle U-haul type trailer with four flip-up sides of highest efficiency panels, a false floor loaded with lithium batteries, a magnum inverter or two, and a small low speed diesel motor powering a couple of hairpin alternators. All I need is Scrooge McDuck's Money Bin. Sigh...

How many mpg does that beast get? Top speed 3 mph? LOL

I'd need ~400 W/m*m, in December the closest live data showed that happened on a flat panel ~2 hrs after sunrise. But my yard is heavily shaded in the summer but the panel measured 4A Isc vs spec 3.8 in full noon sun on a day the same site showed 1000 W/m*m.

Hi BFL13,

I'm trying to find out what time past sunrise that parasitic loads are being met at different places. A world clock (timeanddate.com) will let you look up the sunrise time for a particular location.

SMK I had a solid light on the charge controller. Voltage was 12.5 before the solar came on.

If parasitic loads are being met the battery bank is "at rest". I'm attempting to find out how many hours per day that happens.
