Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.

nice combination. It looks just like the combo for the Wild Cargo Excel has in their on-line brochure. Is that one yours pictured in the brochure????

Yeah, this is the one in the brochure. I think this was the only Wild Cargo to get ordered with full body paint so they use it quite a bit.

Nice truck, Randy! Why is the first picture made to look like a well made model of a truck? Background blurred out and colors look enhanced or something.

It was just one of the photos I had taken that I played with PhotoShopping the background for myself. Done real quick and dirty as I had just got the truck and had to leave for Mayo Clinic early last Sunday morning. I just wanted a photo to make the truck stand out from the background. No color enhancing involved at all. If you want to see the untouched photo, just follow the link in the post.

BTW, just got back from Minnesota and I love this truck. Put 1200 miles on it. Averaged 16.4 mpg going up and 17.3 coming home at mostly interstate speeds (up to 75 mph). Rides like a dream, turning radius is much tighter than my '06 was and acceleration is incredible.

Why did you put a 5th wheel extension so far behind the axle?? With such a short wheelbase (for a Semi), wouldn't that make the steering feel light??

My sisters L8000 had the trailer sit right over the axle. She had the truck where it would use either a 5th wheel or gooseneck.

The axle is setup in the same place as the front axle when it was still a 3-axle truck. The short wheelbase, the front axle setback and a sharp front axle cut (55 degrees) makes it a very maneuverable truck, actually turning within the radius of a dually longbed. It's really very nice to drive with trailer on the back end.
