That's my guess. If you aren't sure bring it someplace and get an expert opinion. It costs a lot of $$ to just throw parts at it based on opinions gotten from the internet.

So I jacked the Tahoe up, and when I wiggle it side to side I am getting just a little play with a little noise.. For sure sign of wheel bearing bad?

Sounds like wheel bearing to me as well. Jack up the front and see if you can wobble the wheel at all. If it is the bearing its a pretty easy job to replace yourself if you have the proper tools.

Check for tire rub on the left side inner fender well. Did you put new tires or wheels on recently? Could result in a rub where previously there wasn't one.

Wheel bearing would be first guess; if 4WD/AWD, it'd likely be a bad CV joint. Either way, get it fixed before the wheel falls off. Really.

Yep, my guess too. When turning the wheel while parked, the bearing isn't rotating to make that sound.
