I saw a coolant additive from cummins that a early 5.9 owner showed me. 7.3 power strokes up to 2002 had to use an additive every 15K miles. PF-15 then changed to another number like maybe 16. chevman

Come on FISH you know better! The Cummins B series engine does NOT need the coolant to be tested and you know this! Other “SLEVED” Cummins engines DO Need to have coolant tested.

What do your pictures have to do with being able to see the engine?

Yes your engine is easier to access the oil filter. Mine takes me literally less than 5 minutes to remove my air intake and and have easy access from above to RnR the oil filter.

Yes , my early 99 Superduty was as loud as any I've heard ,IMO there were a lot of them more quiet then mine . It finally wore its welcome out after nearly 16 years, great truck, but no power compared to the new ones, one of the reason, plus as said the maintenance n cooling system , additive etc. to finally trade it in .

Well, the CP4 disaster wouldn't be that much less than buying a decent 7.3L; now a cherry 7.3L still sells for as much or more than a lot of 6.7L Fords....I wonder why.... :h :B

As I've said before, I would happily buy a cherry 7.3L Super Duty!
