There is a post on Cumminsforum.com about a 2011 Ram that has racked up 1/2 million miles in less than 3 years. THAT is a lot of time behind the wheel.

Bean counters at fleets and governments....don't allow emotion to enter into the decision, unlike many consumers.
Bean counters look primarily at issuing vehicle specs manufacturers have to comply with and then it's simply a question which manufacturer will provide the spec'd out vehicles at the lowest price.
