I would add, keep the tow haul on ALL the time also. Keeps line pressures up.
Personal call there. I'll use Toe haul when empty sometimes for grade braking or to keep my gasser from jumping around gear to gear so much, but imo, it's not needed for poking around town or cruising the flatlands with no load on the truck.
Also, icbw, but I don't think t/h increases line pressure in the 68rfe. Rather it just changes the shift points and integrates downshifts with brake application more aggressively.
