Come on now.... When the confirmation bias swings the other way people believe exactly what posted online. I say we give people the benefit of the doubt. How many times do people repost "my company bought 100 6.7l PSDs and they all blew up before they left the dealer lot. I try to give people some credit and hope they do the same for me.
