2014 Nash 22h Quality Issues

I had a fiver about 10 years ago and they bend over backwards to make sure everything was just perfect. I worked with Matt and he was a great person. Now that Ron Nash is no longer involved due to health reasons maybe things have changed. I no longer have any contact with them.
I think making sure everything is in writing is a great idea. 10 years ago they were still a old fashion office with no internet skills don't know if this has changed.
The unwritten policy was if it was a factory error they would fox it no mater how old the rig was. This might have changed.

I don't think Northwood uses laminated wall panels, rather they skin framed walls with either Filon or aluminum. If not laminated, can't delaminate, but might detach from some frames and buckle or bow.

As others have said, document everything. We've had dealings with Northwood and they were fantastic. Dave Mann the service manager was top notch for us. Replaced our kitchen faucet after it was off warranty, and they paid a dealer to do the work.

I would start documenting every single problem and problem area with a LOT of photos.

Everytime you talk to someone at the dealership, get a "confirmation number"

Everytime you talk with anyone at Northwoods, ask them for a "confirmation number" as well.

Sit down and actually PUT PEN TO PAPER and write a letter to Northwoods about how unhappy you are - written letters carry more weight than their counterpart "eMails"

This is the best way to handle a problem with any company.

I would take pictures and email them to Northwoods. Use email as much as possible and keep them in a file, also printed. I think that Northwoods will make it right but everything documented will make it easier to sleep.

Northwood will let you take it to any authorized RV repair facility. Don't worry about your dealer. Keep an eye on it and take some pics if you can. I would be taking pics of the caulking situations as well. If needed you can always send the pics to Northwood for discussion purposes.

Just follow Matt instructions and if it doesn't settle down give him a call back and they will take care of it. Northwoods has been building that particular model for many, many years. It has always been one of their best sellers.

That's what Crossroads told us about the delamination on our Sunset Trail. "Heat separation", we were told. That's just before it started leaking. I would stay on this like white on rice. lizzie

I just spoke with Matt at Northwood. He explained to me that the trailer is very new and that the buckling on the front cap is normal. He said that things should settle in after time has passed and it should not be a problem. He told me to keep an eye on it and if there is any problems to call them. He was very polite and said they were documenting everything. I just hope this filon over wood stud construction is reliable. The sides aren't smooth when you look down the side of the trailer and I already had to caulk gaps between the filon and the molding. Matt told me that they have been making them this way for years.

There must be more to the story that we haven't heard as Northwood is VERY easy to deal with and bends over backward for customers!
