Well, had the Sunnybrook 26CKS for 11 years. Now for the next 10. Even though the Outdoor RV line is top shelf there are still things to do to get it trip ready as there is any new TT. First off is to remove a thousand stickers that have glue of doom. Then a complete wax job to remove excess silicone sealer along most seals. Re-torque lug nuts. Install new shelf liner. I hope to find some that does not slide with the dishes and wad up in a corner. Put some carpet in the huge storage areas so the plastic storage containers stay put. Then figure out what will go where. Eventually I would like to make a floor for the tongue area but that will take some time. The big issue is the steps are not dog friendly. That is they have slots in them for traction when wet but it also will take a toe nail of my dog if caught wrong. Can't have that. The steps are radius on the front and that makes it even harder to mod. Any suggestions? Besides wraping them with duct tape. The list will continue.

Thanks WouldGlue, I have even looked at the Lance suite but just don't see anything there I would rather have at this time. I would like a TT that is closer to 6000 pounds and 28 feet. Generally speeking the WR is a well built TT and better than most. I just always remember, there are many people that spend their day looking for water to drink. I have no problems.

Went to level concrete with strings and levels. From where the tongue attaches to the frame, to the ball there is about 1 inch of rise in the tongue, maybe a touch more. That is within the RV industry standard of "close enough".

The Outdoor Rally is at Wallowa Lake in Oregon. June 13, 14, 15. The Outdoors factory is about 75 miles away in La Grand and I am about 1000 miles away. Should be a good time.
Thanks for all the reply on this. The side rails of the frame are visible and are Ok. Where the tongue is welded to the front of the frame is also visible and there are no signs of cracks or anything else wrong. I am headed for a level concrete slab at work to do some real checking, measureing, pictures, and try to figure this out. I really hope I am wrong about this.

Well, I've had the TT a few months now and thought I would bring this back up. there are times i am ready to trade this one off, now. I paid good for this and could have gotten many other TT's. This last issue to be found is a real deal breaker for a new TT. The relationship of level between the frame and the tongue has caught my eye. When the TT is level, the frame, floor, fridge and kitchen counter all are level. But the tongue is not on the same plane with them, it points up. Checking how much it is off I leveled the TT, then put the level on the tongue frame rails. I had to lower the tongue at the hitch 4 inches to make the tongue level!! How do you fix that? I run out of tongue jack before the TT is level quick. How do I tow it level? The TT frame and tongue are V shaped and I fear there will be failure down the road. I can't see anything bent or cracked. I have contacted Outdoors RV but no response yet. Anyone else have this problem and how was it fixed?

The way you are checking the tongue angle exaggerates the angle. Pull a tight mason line from rear to front that is parallel to the frame rails. Measure the tongue from this reference line.

The frame is a Northwood Frame, made by the same people who make the Artic Fox frames. I would be very surprised if there is a problem. Also I imagine the Creekside frames are the same as those put under the higher end Outdoors RV products.

I level my trailer by measuring the frame height from ground at the front and rear of the frame "box". Never checked to see if the coupler height is the same. Wouldn't necessarily care if was different as part of the design. But I'm quite sure there isn't a 4" difference on our trailer.

I have followed this thread with keen interest as another Outdoor product, Creekside, caught my eye during my recent TT shopping trip. Some poster on this forum swore by them but commented Creekside is their entry level model. The higher end ones like yours should have quality comparable to Arctic Fox. I am a little skeptical as I did find some workmanship related problems on the one we saw.
The tongue problem your mentioned sounded serious to me. It may have a bend in the frame near where the front wall is. Or worse yet, a crack. I have to say I am only guessing here without hard evidence. If the underbelly is enclosed, it warrant an inspection of the frame inside the enclosure. Be very careful if you have to go under the TT. Make sure your have solid support in addition to the stabilizer jacks b/c these jacks may not design with the extra margin for personnel safety. I would not hitch it up for another trip until the inspection is done.

Sure you can make it. Just pack, gas up, hook up and go. The swag will be worth the trip,,, lol. Meet the people that slapped that thing together and get the warranty items done. Then meet people that have had more things go wrong than you. I have a list of ways they can make them better.

Rally?

Doubt if we can make it out West again by June, but any info would still be of interest. Are they an annual affair?

Our previous Trailmanor trailer was towed to the factory by the manufacturer for roof repairs to stop a persistent leak. We picked it up there a month or so later on our way to Florida.

Perhaps you could arrange something similar with Outdoors RV. Build the trip into your vacation plans somehow.

So far our new trailer issues have been with components, the Lippert stabilizing jacks, Lippert remote control, and Shur-Flo water pump, not the trailer itself.

And so far, Outdoors RV has been good in responding directly to the issues (as the originating dealer is about as far away from the trailer as you can get: dealer in B.C., trailer in Florida). They sent me a new remote right away and have accepted documentation on the other issues for the warranty.

They wanted us to take the trailer in to some local repair shop for service, but as there's nothing that needs be fixed immediately, and we're living in it in while in Florida, they've agreed that the repairs can wait until we return to Ontario.

You're right Gazzer. They did refer to a repair. The problem is that the front cap is a gell coat and not paint so painting the area will not work and painting the entire front cap is even worse. Not sure how they do the repair, but it looks like I have to get it to the factory for the repair. Then they have to have the TT for an entire day. That could be a real pain. I feel somewhat shafted in this. There will be conversation with Outdoor about this. This is a brand new $40K trailer that I am dealing with, fixing their screw-ups. I am sure I am not alone. To bad their isn't an owners forum.
