Maybe it is time we refuse to pay these outlandish prices for a pickup truck!! A half ton truck for over $55,000 is just ridiculous. Tired of being stuck by all these companies that overprice everything from smartphones to pick up trucks.
How exactly are they overpriced if people continue to buy them? The market sets the price, not the manufacture.
I personally do not know a single person who has paid MSRP for any new vehicle. Most people have some kind of discount through insurance, work, memberships.. etc etc etc.
While still very expensive many people get 5-10k off MSRP relatively easily. Not everyone I am sure, but many do.
Being a new model and only a few being available I am sure that these trucks will not see 10k discounts for 6-8 months.. but just like every other brand out there.. eventually you will see this 5-10 k off MSRP for these trucks too.
Thanks!

With internet sales now being common, you can simply look up a vehicles selling price on just about every vehicle on the lot on any dealers web site in which is always lower than the MSRP. In my case I wanted to purchase the wife's new Edge from a local dealer, but they were $900 higher than another dealer on the exact same vehicle, so when talking to the salesman at my preferred dealer, I referred him to this other dealers lower price so they simply matched it.
