I personally do not know a single person who has paid MSRP for any new vehicle. Most people have some kind of discount through insurance, work, memberships.. etc etc etc.

While still very expensive many people get 5-10k off MSRP relatively easily. Not everyone I am sure, but many do.

Being a new model and only a few being available I am sure that these trucks will not see 10k discounts for 6-8 months.. but just like every other brand out there.. eventually you will see this 5-10 k off MSRP for these trucks too.

With internet sales now being common, you can simply look up a vehicles selling price on just about every vehicle on the lot on any dealers web site in which is always lower than the MSRP. In my case I wanted to purchase the wife's new Edge from a local dealer, but they were $900 higher than another dealer on the exact same vehicle, so when talking to the salesman at my preferred dealer, I referred him to this other dealers lower price so they simply matched it.

I understand the 2015's have $2000 on the hood already.
They sure got ya'wl exited though.

Like Jeremiah said 'who pays full price' ?

This morning I seen a brand new F150 Lariet FX4 two tone on the road and it had it's LED light's on. Let me tell you that truck looked really good.

Some of us use our trucks to make a living.
I doubt, if we all refused to buy a new truck, we would still be in business when the prices dropped.
Sounds like cutting off our noses to spite our face.
They aren't making a killing on the truck, it's the options.
Don't get the heated and cooled leather seats etc, and the price drops $20K.

From what I understand, car companies are lining up to reserve capacity with aluminum rolling mills. Capacity doesn't come online quickly, or cheaply, and it will take years to convert one model line to aluminum now that Ford has bought the available supply.

It's a great time to be in the aluminum rolling business, a few years ago it sucked.
