I recently traded in a 2005 Duramax 2500 for a 2015 F350 Lariat Dually. This is my first Ford and I am quite pleased with it.
I paid $55k for mine. It is a 4x4 CC with the 5th wheel tow gear and the 14k GVWR package (I have about 5500lb CCC). I am quite pleased with the truck. I get about 15 mpg (by hand), should go up as I drive it more.
They finally put a dedicated engine brake button on the dash (I believe the other two already have it). It does have a larger turbo and a more robust fuel system. I have heated and cooled seats, supplemental heat, and rear heated seats...the family is happy.
I think you will like it.
