Fish that's great. 18 years I would sure hope they won! Now get out your check book since yours has no warranty left.
Why should I? From a common sense point of view my truck is payed for, and is 4.5 years old and at 103k miles, not one single issue to date. I still have the original shocks on the truck and has been very inexpensive to operate.
Having said that these new Super Duty's look like a jewel so the itch continues!
At only 103K that truck is still like new. I would hope nothing significant has failed at this point. your truck has at least another 100K to go
I agree but the complex emissions on these trucks have been a struggle for the manufacturers. The emissions on my Power Stroke have been very transparent to the point I don't even pay attention to it anymore. I feel this truck can make an easy 250k miles without any major issues.- LantleyNomad

I did my usual count of "independently" owned RV and car transporters on my trip from WA to SoCal last week. There was one GM Dually car hauler and one F450 car hauler with two standard size cars on it's trailer. The GM sat level as it should and the Ford was VERY low in the rear. There were no others from GM or Ford the rest around 12 were RAM's.
I spoke to one guy who has hauled for Horizon Transport for 7 years, he could not say enough good about them. His last RAM had 488K when he sold it and now has a 14 RAM 3500 LB SRW with a bit over 100k. He said the Aisin is really the way to his last truck was a 6sp.
Wrong... :B
The amount of Super Duty's sold vs the Ram is well documented and I will say there's quite a few Ram's here in Texas, go east to Florida and we hardly seen any Rams in over 1,400 miles. Perhaps the transporters don't work along the Gulf states.- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII did my usual count of "independently" owned RV and car transporters on my trip from WA to SoCal last week.
