I have a 2015 AF 865 and have no problem with the bed area being cold.
Even in cold weather camping?
What finally made me decide to keep my AF811 was a few things:
Low ball offers I kept getting on it.
The small fortune I've invested in upgrades to it.
I think that's the best plan anyway. You got the truck to carry it and these short campers get a little squishy without a slide out.
If you're selling privately you're always going to get the ******* that think they're Richard Rawlins offering 50cents on the dollar.
If you're going to sell, maybe market it here on the wet side where there's 10x the people and more money floating around. Although anyone serious is going to peruse neighboring areas of they're in the market. Another suggestion is list it in AK.
Sold my 05 860 up there in a heartbeat and for good $ at the END of the season nonetheless. Granted I lived there at the time, but the guy that bought it said he'd been looking in the pnw as well, as the available used market and extraordinary cost of RVs and trailers up there makes the pnw a destination for those willing to travel for the right rig.
