- Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerLong answer short: Yes, it was a pretty reliable tranny.
- SidecarFlipExplorer IIIActually, they are all reliable IF you take care of them as in change the fluid and filter.
- Bionic_ManExplorerVery reliable at stock power.
- mudfuel07ExplorerThanks for the info. It will stay at stock power, don't really need anymore than what it has for our trailer.

That is a lot of miles on a 2017 rig. Was it used commercially? - LwiddisExplorer II“Actually, they are all reliable IF you take care of them as in change the fluid and filter.”
Except on my 2019 Silverado...no dip stick. - rhagfoExplorer III

X2
Even if bought the end of 2016 that is three years, and 25k a year. When we bought our 2001 used in fall of 2010 it had 234k on it it was an early 2001 so just shy of 11 years just over 20k a year. - ShinerBockExplorerI would actually prefer more miles on a diesel. That means it was mainly used on the highway and not so much city driving which is what kills these new emissions diesels.
- micpib1ExplorerI believe that is the same Transmission that I have in my 2013 Ram with the Cummins. I have 145K and it has been trouble free. JH
- mudfuel07ExplorerFrom what I could figure out on the Carfax, it was a fleet vehicle for a company. The interior is extremely clean with little to no wear on it. Everything underneath looks clean as well, even the spots where most dealerships don't clean.
