2021 Chevy Steps up the Max Tow Rating

Special Chevy configuration can now tow 36,000 pounds. I got to admit I'm still not a fan of that front end.

  • I am good with the front end. Maybe not in love with it, but it didn't stop me from kicking down for one. That increase in capacity is certainly noticeable in the ride. It is a tad rough, even with a steel flatbed on it. However given how much it can tow/haul over previous gens, I have no issues with that.
  • Sure doesn’t look like my 2009 Silverado. It is very different front end look for sure. With the big CHEVROLET across the front not hard to mistake it for something else.
    maybe ?? maybe?? Who knows?
  • I’d have to wear a bag over my head driving a 2020 Chevy HD....
GMCs look cool to me albeit too “busy.” Imo.
Weird part is I think the 1500s and T Hoes look sweet, but someone tried to hard to design the family truckster with the HD.
  • I love the new front end. It was about time for a change. It looks mean, rather then like my grand dads work truck. ( not that there is anything wrong with that).
  • “These include the Carhartt Special Edition, with unique 20-inch wheels, exterior badging,..”

    Wow, special badging.
  • I agree that front clip doesn’t look very good, I bought a new 2019 earlier than I had planned on replacing my 2013 because of the new look.
