2500 vs 2500 HD

i have a 2013 Ram Hemi 2500 HD. that is the emblem on the side of the truck . titled weight of truck is 6200 lbs. GVWR is 8800lbs. rear axle is 6000lbs.
all heavy duty trucks will have an eight lug wheel

All Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks are "Heavy Duty". The only thing that can be different is the axel.

There are no differences.

All 3rd Generation Rams (2500/3500) are considered Heavy Duty. It is a marketing term.

If a '03+ Ram doesn't have 'Heavy Duty' badged on the tailgate, it was removed or the tailgate was replaced with a 1500 model.

The RAM/Dodge 2500 is the same no matter the door badge. Chevy had a 2500 and a 2500HD, Dodge/Ram did not.

All 2500 Dodge trucks with a Cummins is a HD model. I'm not aware Dodge ever made a std 2500 vs a HD model truck.
IMO your confusing the gas 2500 that has a smaller GVWR and smaller axle sizes.

The Mega Cab is a four door with an extension behind that. The difference between the 2500 and the 3500 was a set of overload springs. As far as I know all 2500's had the same springs in 2006.
