Love to watch people get riled up over nothing.
yup and attacking people's engine choice sure is one way to get 'em riled up. Just look at the 2nd post in the thread....
I wasn't riled up...just pointing out if you are a smart shopper you can find diesel pricing that is low....relatively low.
You read into my post. I've seen too many of Suercharged posts to get riled.
Oh, I wasn't talking about your post, apparently, the one I was referring to got moderated into oblivion. Sorry about the confusion. - Old-BiscuitExplorer III

Troll or not, I like ol' supercharged. He starts a thread with a fairly short and I guess random thought, gets a minimum 5 pages of responses and then moves on to his next thread. I got to admit, it is fairly entertaining.
I've been known to have a drink or two also
Yes, but:
Hizzoner Supercharged uses that alcohol-fueled mania to produce things of real beauty: completely ridiculous threadtopics that invariably generate page after page of further inanity.
Can you say the same?
I. Think. Not.

I'm trying to decide if I should drive our gasser or diesel to the annual get together and picnic next summer. Gasser is 4 wheel drive but diesel fuel cost more. What to do????
Wait till next summer to see how close gas prices are to diesel. Probably be about the same. I've never seen gas prices drop in summer. They always go up. - path1ExplorerI'm trying to decide if I should drive our gasser or diesel to the annual get together and picnic next summer. Gasser is 4 wheel drive but diesel fuel cost more. 75 cents? I think you are back living in the mid 1970s.
I recently found this receipt and was shocked. Certainly, not $0.75, but surprising none the less when you look at the date. :)
Wow, that is just a few years before the Republicans would not make the OIL MEN raise their right hand!

Hate to admit I do when, as a young pup in Flint, MI I saw corner gas stations competing such that they got down to 6c/gallon. I filled up for a buck!
Then again, when the prices jumped back up to normal it was 36c/gallon and boy, did we think that was expensive!
