  • Livin’ Lite will discontinue production on its entire line in the next several months, four dealer sources have told RV PRO.
  • Livin' Lite gave up on the aluminum floor except on their toy haulers.

I guess customers were unwilling to pay the premium price for aluminum construction. One former Livin' Lite Dealer dropped them over a year ago because when they switched to (much cheaper) plywood floors they did not decrease their wholesale price. Now they had a less unique (more middle of the road) product at a premium price.
  • Rot or corrosion take your choice. :)

Actually I think it is a cost thing. If it were cheaper, everyone would use it.

There may be a niche market out there they want to tap into.

They didn't switch to plywood, they moved to a non-wood composite. People that have it seem to like it, but time will tell. It looks like production is ending but apparently there is a possibility it may continue under one of the other brands.

Intech is a new aluminum camper company. One of the people involved is Scott Tuttle who started LivinLite.
