Most molly bolts are made for thicker surfaces than the thin walls in an RV. I mounted a number of items in my Keystone and struggled with many failed attempts at securing something to those 1/8"-1/4" walls. I about ruined a section of wall in the bathroom trying to mount a towel rack. I finally hit up YouTube which can answer all questions. The EZ Ancor hollow core door anchors proved to be the answer. Unlike other twist in sheetrock type anchors these have a special set of threads to them so they lock into really thin stuff. For heavy items you need to find studs, just like in your home. But for light stuff like picture frames and even towel racks these work well. The towel rack in my bathroom has 4 of the anchors securing a 3-4 lb towel rack with 2-3 heavy beach towels on it. No problem. In the kitchen I have a much larger 5-6 lb rack mounted with 4 EZ Ancors on a negative angle wall. It carries less weight, but still no problem. And again, the trick is to drill a pilot hole and get them started good then put some good glue on them. I use the silicon glue you find in small tubes at hardware stores. It takes a while to dry but it sure does the job.
