Air bag installation in No. Phoenix needed

I'm thinking about adding air bags. The truck already has SuperSprings but still needs a little more leveling help.
Plus, I'm going to rent a trailer with a 250 pound tongue weight and want to insure a level ride.

So I'm looking for a shop in No. Phoenix area that can do the install for me.
Any referrals would be appreciated?
  • That sounds about right. I haven't heard a bad thing about them.

I wonder if they have plans to expand further down South. That'd be nice.
  • I have been their customer since I first started driving. They have have always treated me well and if something wasn't right, they took the steps to make it right. Most of my vehicles have had new tires, tire repairs and tire mounting done at Les Schwab - The last 20 years of service has been mostly from the same shop.
  • I had no clue who or what Les Schwab was until I picked up my camper in Portland. Seemed like whenever I was chatting with someone and the subject of automotive/repair related stuff came up, the next words out of the persons mouth were Les Schwab. On the radio, Les Schwab. TV, Les schwab. You PNW'rs sure do like you some Les Schwab. :)

Too bad. I had assumed they made it all the way south since they have started building out east through Utah and Colorado. Bakersfield is usually where we turning off to go into the Majove...

I didn't have them install air bags, but I had some other suspension work done there on an SUV, for which I even had my own parts. They didn't even mind that, and they did a good job for me at a good price. Friendly and good customer service. I would most definitely go to them again.

  • Les Schwab will probably charge you less for the airbags and definitely less for the install than a RV dealership. Amounted to almost $200 savings for me.
  • Les Schwab should be able install bags for you and then you would have a local place to cover any warranty issues when you return home.
  • Tom's Camperland - 19th Ave. & Grand Ave., Arizona Campers - 4140 Grand Ave. These are both in central Phoenix but these guys specialize in truck campers and both have great reputations.
