- mudfuel07ExplorerGo with a 15k, it will keep out 32' trailer cool.
- SailingOnExplorerWe have a 30' trailer with one 13.5K air conditioner.
With highs in the low 100's, no shade, expect temp inside in the mid 80's. The AC runs all the time, removing most of the humidity, which helps make this tolerable.
Shade helps.
Reflectix (foil covered flexible stuff) on the windows helps lots, but blocks all light. Gila window film helps almost as much, and you can still see out.
Small fans help more than I'd expected.
And of course those things help even when you can't run the air conditioner. - kbroadnaxExplorerIf you can go 15k then do it, better to have too much ac than no enough.
- skipncharExplorerMine does OK below 100 degrees but struggles when temps get higher than that. Fortunately MOST of our travels are to the mountains and usually with NO air conditioning required. SOME of the satisfaction of course will depend on how well the trailer is insulated.
