Yup, but if me, I'd make the take back the MAF and refund the money paid.
Then the decision is to let them continue to work on my vehicle or not...to fix whatever is the 'real' culprit part/system/etc...

BenK - you know how mechanics work. If the MAF they put on is bad, it is in warranty. If they find anything else wrong, I pay way more.
The intake gasket and knock sensors were replaced in October. A different code issue then.
