There is such a thing as too much truck?

'07 International 4400 on 24.5", DT570/Allison, air everything. Hooked to a trailer that weighs about 700lbs.
I couldn't see the ramp sticking up in the center mirror, couldn't see the trailer in the sides when they were adjusted correctly.
"I couldn't feel it back there!"
I have plenty of truck for my trailer (sig stuff). No regrets at all. No concern about hills, about wind, about what I load in the truck or trailer.
