We live full time in a fifth wheel and travel for work, but we also own a truck camper.......coming home to our fifth wheel feels luxurious after the truck camper.Working the next three days, then leaving for another four day trip next week. Did you have any trouble with the rangers camping anywhere you wanted to. We had a couple of problems one time and were asked to move on by the rangers... The only Public camping spots were close to three lakes... Fish Canyon was interesting - One dude with a big bus tried to go around your picture with the low rock over hang and crashed into it blocking the road for both directions. We was coming back on this trip and then camped out at the bottom of the fish canyon at a pull out close to where your bridge picture was taken. There was a bunch of cars pulled off there as well waiting for the road to open back. Since we had all kinds of camping facilities with out JEEP SETUPS we had a great time with the crowd there... It was a good 6-8 waiting for the road to open back up.We all kept hollering up to the canyon to just push the bus off the ridge hehe... There was a few wrecks already piled up at the bottom of Fish Canyon.Fun times back then on the APACHE TRAIL.Roy and Carolyn

Great TR! What a beautiful place! We too were there recently though didn't head out the trail far and spent a lot of time around the state park. It sure looked like there are lots of great sites off the road from the satellite images; glad to hear confirmed as I'd like to get back there again.

Always thought it would be cool to have a "Kodiak on a Kodiak". ;)

Strange... we rode the Apache Trail about 25 years ago, but I don't recall it looking as spectacular as that! Nice pictures!

What brand of TC is that? Northern Lite? I can't tell for sure. It has great lines and color.

Thanks. Wasn't even really looking to buy one, but just stumbled across it one day on Craigslist while board at work. Oddly enough, there were two for sale in the Phoenix area at the same time.

Trackhead the picture of your little guy pedaling away has to be the one of the cutest rear facing pictures i've ever seen. In one of your pictures it looks like you were in the midst of a meteor shower?

Lake Roosevelt is one of our favorite places for a weekend getaway. We pulled our fiver up Apache Trail one time. It was a white knuckled ride all the way. Never again.

No issues, but we were not in sight of the road, and another reason I like the "desert sand" color of the camper.......maybe a little camo helps.
