Arctic Fox?

I have searched and looked at the stickys and could not find an answer, what in bed plug do I need for an Arctic Fox camper? I have seen that Lance has a special one does Arctic Fox as well? I am trying to get my truck prepped.

Thanks,

Stacey

I had my dealer make the harness long enough to connect to the back of the truck instead of adding another connector to the bed. When I tow with my extension (SuperTruss), I have a Y-cable that extends the truck connection to the end of the extension and splits off a second connector for the TC.

This is the same way my Wolf Creek is wired.

  • My 2008 AF 811 has a standard 7pin connection at the truck. Proprietary at the camper.
  • As far as I know, AF's don't have a wire harness, instead, they use a plug on the camper, which is a 6 pin plug. AF supplies a connector with pigtail which mates to the conenctor, then a customer, or dealer will put a plug on the other end of the pigtail, for whatever is needed to mate to the truck - usually a 7 pin trailer style connector. THis is how my 2010 is set up.

This may have changed on new models - I can't recall for sure when I was looking at new AFs a few weeks ago.

My truck had a camper pre-wire package. The dealer installed a 7 pin trailer plug on the set of wires, then teh pigtail from the camper plugs in to it.

Our 2013 AF996 took a standard 7 way RV trailer plug. The dealer made up a harness to work with the factory plug. AFAIK, all Arctic Fox use the same setup.
