Unfortunately, I have seen Little Emperors of the World (love that) of all ages. It is not a generational thing. It's a symptom of our society rather than a result of someone's parenting. People of all ages think that they are special and don't need to follow the same rules - because as a society we have placed self-confidence above humility.
When the rule of law goes out the window (thank you politicians), it's every man for himself.
