He's haulin more than that, unless that AF camper is gutted. More like 4klbs for the shortbed models and the no slide model.
Bag's will hold it up for sure. Having a heavy tongue trailer with a ball coupler helps stability/body roll. It very likely handles better with the heavy trailer on back than no trailer.
