Dish receivers have to be DIRECTLY connected to the Satellite Antenna.
All of the connections on the trailers go thru a splitter that makes the receiver not work.
What I did was use the outside TV connection where the TV is mounted and took that connection apart and used one of the cables for a direct connection for the receiver. Took about 15 minutes to complete.
