Battery Boxes

I would like to install my TT batteries (2 and would consider 3) in a nice metal box. Can anybody suggest a source for a box that would do the job for me? I would really like something that is attractive and would be tongue mounted. Checker Plate would be nice. I currently have two plastic boxes, and they look horrible.
  • Sounds like a Torklift box, like was linked earlier, would be just what you are looking for. Both my son and I have one and they are great. Here is a picture of each of them. My sons holds 4 or 5 batteries but he uses part of it for storage. Mine holds two batteries.

This is mine. Two group 27 batteries inside.

This is my sons. One battery and a bunch of other stuff! :) It will hold at least 4 batteries.

I sort of like this install from google search for a metal battery box. This is 48" wide and is lockable and called a side mount tool box. This size will hold four each GC2 GP24 6VDC batteries.

The lip area is a perfect spot to dress up your battery cabling and also provide for a nice VENT spot as shown. Plenty of room to mount appropriate BLUE SEA battery switches...

  • One of the nicest battery box set ups available.....Power Armor Box by Torklift.
Diamond Plate, lockable, various sizes in polished aluminum or black
