battery charging

When I first fire up my Honda Genny I can hear the converter turn on. once I know longer hear it does that mean the batteries are charged

do you have a hydrometer to check the battery properly?.. All the stuff with voltage, amps and charge time are not accurate way to determine is the battery is properly charged or not.

No, the converter is silent, you are probably just hearing the cooling fan in the converter which is thermostatically controlled.
