Here is my .02$ on reliability. I have owned or driven 5 vehicles that were classified as trucks since '76. I put over 100k on all of them over the years I drove them. Two of said vehicles I did not own, but drove them in the course of my work as an electrician for the company I worked for. One was a Ford and replaced by a Chevy. Drove both for over 10 years and 100k each. Of the other three, one was a foreign model, over 200k, with the others being Dodges. One was traded at 12 years old with 140+k and the other is my current '04.5 truck with 177k+. With this 39 years and 600k+ of experience I would rate their reliability in this order, 1) Dodges, 2) foreign, 3) Ford, 4) Chevy. This is my experience, others may be different.
