Best wax and way to wax front of faded fiberglass TT?

The part at bottom corner that is not faded there was a sticker. No pattern in person that I see. Can we use wax on decals?

That picture shows, to me, the cap is not that bad. You could just try a marine wax and see if it meets your approval. There are various cleaners and deoxidisers sold. TSP or TSP substitutes are a good, inexpensive deoxidiser. The marine waxes will last the longest.

Edit: Looking at the picture again, it looks like the faded portion has a pattern. Did someone scrape up there with something coarse? It may be that you need to use some rubbing compound and a buffer to get that all even again.

Lots of variables, best to call local RV bodyshop/paint businesses in your area. If I would hazard a guess, again some variables, I would think anywhere between $1,000 & $2,000. One variable that may come in to play is, do you have decals and if so do you want them replaced? If you are still under warranty, have a discussion with your dealer and/or the Mfg. I have heard some manufacturers if not paying the full cost to repaint, pay a portion. Then of course there are those who will not do anything.

What does that cost?

Repaint it and get it over with.

You can wax all you want ....you will have to get it painted. Like the rest of us . Good luck .

I had the same problem on our TT which we recently traded in. The front cap oxidized within the first year despite machine buffing with compound, followed by machine polishing and then applying a high quality RV wax sealer on a quarterly basis. I finally before the warranty was up spoke with the dealer, who agreed under warranty to take care of it, but I suspect they only did as I did and buffed it as a month later the oxidation reared it's ugly head again. I finally gave up as we were planning to get a new rig and figured I would save the work until prior to trading in. In the interim I discovered a product called Recolor by Rustoleum that apparently has been used on semi truck cabs, very easy and quick to apply so I tried it just prior to trading in, did the whole cap in 45 minutes as opposed to 3+ hours of buffing and it looked as good as new. Since I traded it in I have no way of knowing how long it will last. Once the caps start oxidizing nothing you do will last. If we were to keep the TT long term, I would have bit the bullet and had the cap repainted properly.
