Best way to deal with 50A cable with a TT

I put a metal tool box on the back bumper of my TT and put it and other items there.

:) Hi, rolling up my 30 Amp cord is very difficult when camping in cold weather; I can't imagine doing it with a 50 Amp cord. I just put my cord inside of my trailer and hopefully it will soften from warmth so I can eventually roll it up properly.

Leaving it inside the door seems like a fine solution if you're going straight to your destination, since you'll be plugging in when you get there anyway as one of the first steps of setting up. If you'll make stops and/or have a need to go inside the trailer while traveling, I can see how that being in the way could be a pain. I'd just throw it on the floor at the foot of the bed if I didn't like it in the doorway. Mine just stays in the pass thru.

They make a handle with a strap you can wrap around the cord for easier moving of the cable, if you want to be able to toss it where ever is convenient without worrying about it unraveling.

I have a small pass through on the side of my TT, under the "U" shaped dinette that both my 50 amp cord and extension cord go, along with all of the other "set up stuff" like water connections and hoses, CATV, etc go. I am pretty lucky in the mine coils relatively easily. I use a "cord keeper" on each side of both of the cords to hold them in the coil and that's about it.

Too bad they don't make these for RVs.

As for that anaconda cord...mine went into a 5 gallon and then into the back of truck bed.

Everyone is different and some families require more "stuff" than others. What appears to be non-essential to some is a necessity to others. :@

Neighbors MH has a non-detachable that has to be fed through hole in compartment every time it is used. Tried to get them to change to detachable, but no they decided to hang through compartment door. let it slam shut and Zap! Need cord repaired!
