That was us with Henderson Beach State Park in Destin FL. 11 Months out, had to hit the 'reserve' button at 11:59:59 to get my reservation. Ended up camping a month later than I wanted to because if I missed the reservation, I would have to wait 14 days (typical reservation length) to try and reserve again. Did that twice...3rd time was a charm.
It can be worse. I've been inquiring at different RV parks in Florida about next winter (2019/2020) thinking I would get a head start, and I've been told they will put me on a waiting list and if something opens up they would call me. My first snowbird experience might not even happen!
