How can anyone in California be anything but grateful for any amount of rain? We need every inch we can get, especially in northern CA with so many of the reservoirs drained to send water to the corporate farmers in the south.

String up a blue tarp, 8 ft poles, build a fire under it and relax. Windy? Add some sides. TC is just for sleeping as far as I'm concerned. We rarely cook inside anyway. Wet side of the Cascades, BC and Alaska, you just gotta go anyway.

I like the noise of rain on the roof and windows when I'm trying to sleep, it makes it more relaxing.

Camping in the Sierra's with a borrowed TC is what made us get one. We arrived after an 8 hour drive. The sky dumped. We popped the top (pop-up), started the heater, made some hot coco, climbed up to the comfy queen sized bed with our books... We were sold. Had to have one.

Love when we are camping and the weather is miserable and we are warm, cozy and happy.

If it's raining too hard to have fun outside, DW and I find something fun to do inside:W

so lucky I was able to visit this forum. I thought that I’m the only one who loves camping in the rain! lol. Our Lance was covered in 14 inches of snow this week, but being it's springtime in the Northern Hemisphere with longer days now, it is melting off fast.
I'll be removing my rear pull snow blower from the tractor today and re-attaching the box scraper to drag the lane. It wasn't much of a winter here on the West Slope.
We expect to be camping in the rain on several trips we have planned in spring time.

Thanks Jefe! I like the sleek look too! This is Riverside State Park Bowl and Pitcher.
The campground is on one side and for the hiking trails you cross the bridge. You can park on the west side of the river and use a discover pass also.
