I have the 07 V-10 and my plugs are the ones that can break apart into 2 pieces when removing them, have to have a Leslie tool to extract the broken plugs if they break, someday I am going to have to get er done before I reach 50,000 miles and replace them with the newer 1 piece plug..
One of these and a 9/16" spark plug socket and you won't break a single plug.
Get a few different extensions to reach the sneaky ones.
I have yet to break a single plug when using this tool. About the only thing it does get used for. Proper torque when installing to keep the smell of gas on cold mornings is another issue.
I have seen videos on youtube people using the 3/8 air ratchet and removing the plugs when motor is warm and heard they never come apart but sometimes they do, I am talking about the 3 valve 06-08 plugs that were just spot welded on the bottom and they stick into the lower heads and that's why it comes apart, only these years have the problem.
