My mechanic pulled the plugs on my 09 Honda Odyssey with 158000 miles on them and reinstalled them. Said they looked great and no need to waste the money. It seemed we changed them a lot sooner when I was a kid, around 50000 miles, and they would look worn out.
The maintenance schedule on my wife's 2010 Jeep Liberty for plug changes is at 30,000 miles and wires at 60,000 miles. Thankfully, they are rather easy to change.
Her engine still uses copper. I would've liked to go with the 100k plugs, but from what I've read on the Jeep forums that engine just isn't designed to use those type of plugs.
Now, when my Hemi needs them, that's 16 plugs to change. That'll be fun.
