City Water Connection problem

It could easily be the check valve (backflow preventer). They're often part of the city water inlet fitting and you may not be able to just replace the check valve. As suggested, remove the filter screen on the inlet on the exterior of your unit and push in the center of the valve to try and free it up. The screen only filters out course material and sediments could get past it and gum up the check valve. If this is the case, you might want to consider a sediment filter cartridge/housing.

FWIW, there are less expensive plastic city water inlet assemblies and ones made from solid brass.

I had a low flow city water problem when I was using an el cheapo regulator. I solved it by getting a Watts regulator.

IF the inlet screen/washer on the city water hose connection is clean then the check valve just behind that inlet screen is stuck closed of falling apart.
The check valves are cheap junk (small plunger, spring & o-ring). the o-ring gets dislodged and jams up the action......or the plunger gets cocked sideways.

You can try and reset it by pushing in on the tip of plunger (with out any pressure on system) and that sometimes works....otherwise will need to replace (usually the whole city water assembly :S)

The check valve is there to stop water from coming out the city water connection when using your pump.
Instead of replacing mine (whole assembly) I just removed the internals and put a brass garden hose shut off valve on......no more flow problems due to cheap plastic junk.

The city water inlet has a short hose that meets,a T connection close to the onboard pump.Be sure the hose has not kinked. Also SOME systems have an inline valve from the city water connection to prevent back flows YOURS may not. The inlet MAY have a pressure regulator that would also be inline before the T connection inside. Either of these valves could be clogged from mineral deposits or less likely worn out.

There is a plunger inside the inlet port push it in and out a few times and make sure it is free.

I have the same problem with mine. DW not happy about shower pressure. I have a oxygenics shower head and it is still not blow away pressure like in the old TT/ I looked for a filter under the cabinets and did not find one. I too am at a loss as why I don't have pressure.

Are you using an outside water filter or pressure regulator?

If you have a tap that is supposed to be one way to fill your onboard tank, and the other way to run city water, try turning the handle to the other extreme end.
