Just finished a fishing pole mod. I used two sections of light weight chain (like on a storm door) and screwed them to the top of my storage compartment on each end. now the rods hang from the ceiling and are not being smashed by all the other stuff.
This isn't really a mod, but I always hated having the roasting forks and pie irons just laying around in the storage comparment. Couldn't find a storage tote that was long enough. Then I was at Farm and Fleet one day and found a cheap ($10-15) rifle case. It is a perfect fit for the roasting forks and pie irons. Not to mention it gets people wondering what you are up to when you pull it out by the campfire :)
