Cummins longevity and maintence

My Cummins has 410K on it. It gets serviced every now and then, when I think of it.
I have a 3 gallon box of Chevron Delo 400 out in the garage. Maybe it is time to go to NAPA and get the Gold oil filter and get the oil and filter changed. It has been many months, after all...

I did Blackstone testing and found I was good to 10,000 miles per change, worked out to about a year.

I did 10k changes on my 98 12V. It was easy to remember. Blackstone said I could go longer also.

I don't do testing to see how long i can make the oil last, I simply prefer to keep fresh oil in my 5.9.

Cummins do not require the coolant additive as they build the engines the proper way which do not cause cavitation of the coolant around the cylinders.

What does what I said below have to with your comments above??? I already "ASSUMED" it was a RAM truck and just wanted to know what truck it was year etc. You have anything better to do today???

Now that you have mentioned what truck you have.

I prefer AMZ/OIL products. I prefer their oil filter also as it's made by Donaldson. The FleetGuard strata pore is a fine filter the Donaldson is simply better.

I run full 15k oil Changes with good Blackstone reports to back it up.

I use Mopar, FleetGuard or Racor for my fuel filters, Racor only makes the under bed filter. FleetGuard makes the engine mounted filter and air and oil filters that can be labeled Mopar. DON'T use off brand filters!!!!!!!!!!!

The MOPAR oil filter does NOT have the synthetic Stratapore filtration. Personally would NOT use the Mopar oil filter unless doing short oil changes.

232: 365-232 = 133, so the 133th day of the year, or May 13th.

So this box of DEF was made May 13th, 2019.
