Tesla truck is made that shape bc such hard stainles steel cant be formed only bent in two axis.
main advantage is that dagger shape should get the best range mpg simply for its aerodynamics.
Id buy it even it wasnt electric.
So they are using a hard stainless instead of the type used in this car?
Ford stainless
Alegedly
Tesla CBRTRK uses same steel as space X rockets its called 30X whatever that means,,
As long as its rust resistant I want it. Is that why the Deloean was a bit angular with a moulded front and rear trim instead of steel?

Somebody worked overtime to make that thing as ugly as it is. Must have hired some GM designers.
As it sits. You couldn't pay me to drive it. I have standards.
I was thinkin the same about late GM trucks, and Ive been drivin Chevys for over forty years now,
the box look is not only ugly but gets worse mpg as a result,no more GM for me.
Only time GM had great lookin truck was the Holden UTE

But that’s not a truck....lol.
Are you implying somehow GM shaped bricks have gotten less aero and the other mfgs bricks have gotten more aero? Cause I don’t see it. I would bet there is only a very small difference between any full size pickup brand to brand, year to year since the 90s. - 8_1_VanExplorer

Day one: God that is one ugly truck.
Day ten: Its kinda interesting. Kinda grows on you.
Day twenty: OMG ?? that’s cool. Gotta have one. Where do I sign.
I think there are over 700.000 reservations for it now. Although I’m sure many of those will bow out or get a Rivian.
Lol I'm still at day one. Might get to day 10 if I could see one up close in person. Oh wait, nevermind....:B
