Diesel fuel around Cheery Hill Park (DC area)

When we were down several years ago here, I recall getting diesel fuel near this campground and want to say it was a truck stop type fuel location. Now, I can't remember where it was. Cannot locate any major truck stops in this area. Called the CG and asked about fuel and was told that several gas stations ell diesel. Awlful leary about buying from a place that may not have a lot of turn over of fuel.

Where does one get good fuel w/o worrying about water/stale fuel here?

Sorry if this is in wrong subject area.
  • I was just there last week. I filled up with diesel from the BP station at the intersection of Cherry Hill Rd. and Baltimore Ave. I had no issue with the fuel I got there.

  • I think any station that close to DC sells plenty of diesel and would have zero concern about stale fuel. Aside from thousands of commercial trucks servicing the city, there are many, many private diesel cars.
  • When I visit there , I just go out to Route 1 and look for a station that sells Diesel... If you make a right out of the park , pass Ikea and go to the next light , that's route 1..
There is a station directly across the street off to the right that sells Diesel... I have seen other tow vehicles in there filling in the past so I decided it was ok... not a problem since...

IF you want a truck stop , make a left on route 1 and head up towards Jessup MD.. huge truck stops there on RT 1..if the case , head back up 95 for a faster trip..
