Do you need a slider hitch with a 61/2 ft bed
I am thinking of upgrading trucks right now I have a 8 ft bed with a 16.5 k hidden hitch. Will this work in a shortbed f250 making tight turns.

Depends on the trailer a bit. I have a Reese slider on my short bed Dodge and never use it. It would hit the rear window if I made it go 90 degrees though. Our trailer has cut outs on the front cap corners which helps a bit I believe.
