Do you need a slider hitch with a 61/2 ft bed
I am thinking of upgrading trucks right now I have a 8 ft bed with a 16.5 k hidden hitch. Will this work in a shortbed f250 making tight turns.

Guy pulled into the campground yesterday32 foot 5ver and a 2012 Chevy 2500 short bed. TrailAire pin box and slider.....took him a while get back in then I noticed his whole back window is almost gone. Haven't had a chance to find out what happened....either jack-knifed or just forgot to slide the hitch back. Good things there is no rain right now.
