Dodge Dually 2014 with Alcoa Aluminum wheels

My Lance is hauled on a new 2014 Dodge Ram dually Longhorn Laramie that has ALCOA ALUMINUM WHEELS. The misses was forced off a dirt road and got the passenger wheels buried in soft mud with stones. Trying to get it out, she managed to severely scratch the wheels. I have not been able to get any real help if these wheels are repairable. CAN THESE WHEELS BE BROUGHT BACK? ARE THEY CLEAR COATED? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. I have pictures of the damage. I live now in western pa....thanks
  • With the amount of money you have invested in that truck I'd just replace the wheel!!
  • Check for clear coat first.
Those coats are pretty hard, but Aircraft paint remover and good water nozzle can deal with it.
  • They can be wet sanded if the scratches aren't deep, then polished out. Can't tell you how many I have done when I worked at the KW shop.
  • How deep are the scratches? Pictures?
I repolished whole 1965 Airstream trailer, so wheels are small change.
